Camp 2010

We are still taking Sign-ups for our Summer Camp. We are going back to FUGE this year, but this year we are headed to Tennessee. We will leave a couple days early so that we can go white water rafting!

We will be starting the trip by driving to eastern Tennessee where we will have a full day of rafting down the Upper & Middle sections of the Ocoee River. The river is over 8 1/2 miles of continuous Class III and IV whitewater including the exciting Olympic Course run. It is considered to be one of the best natural stretches of whitewater in the country, ranked one of America's Top Ten Rivers.

We then will be heading to Jackson, TN to Union University for Centrifuge (Fuge) Camp! Fuge is a discipleship camp for students who have completed sixth grade through graduated seniors. This camp includes graded Bible studies with students from other churches, recreation, and afternoon track times, all facilitated by Fuge camp staff. The Camp Theme is: KAIROS with the tagline of: Defining Moments. The theme verses are Ephesians 5:15-16 which states, "Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil." The speaker for the week is Sammy Nuckolls with the Sidewalk Prophets leading worship.

The total cost of the trip is $395 which includes the required $50 deposit, which are due at time of registration. ALL deposits are nonrefundable! We will be having a fundraiser at the beginning of summer to help pay for the trip. There are also scholarships available for the families who need it.
