Kyle Horton, Minister to Students

Kyle has had the privilege of serving the Lord through student ministry for over 10 years. Kyle joined the FUMC, Monroe staff in November of 2008. He graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and a minor in Religion. Kyle enjoys communicating God's life changing truth in new and creative ways (especially to students) and loves to see them "get it", whether that means salvation, falling more in love with God and His word, or discovering how they are uniquely gifted to serve Him in ministry. Kyle is passionate about having a good time, watches way too much tv, is a bit of a movie junkie (watching and quoting), is an overly competitive board gamer, and never met a fajita he didn't like.

Kyle is married to Katy and they enjoy spending time and living life with their son Travis and daughter Carli.
